I feel like I've been holding my breath for the last eight years.
And tonight I can finally breathe again.
In 2004 I voted to elect Barack Obama to the United States Senate and earlier today I voted for him again but this time for President.
Tonight we won. I have had little faith in this country for a long time, but tonight as the cheers of Boston trickle in through my windows, I feel good about the United States of America for the first time in a long, long time.
Finally, we can move forward.
